Senior  Pastor ~ Gordon Allan

Gordon hails from Greenock. He worked for Inverclyde Housing prior to studying for a BA at Regents Theological College, graduating in 1999.  He began his ministry in Beeston before moving to Clydebank in November 2001. Gordon is involved in several areas of local life outside the church serving as a chaplain at Clydebank High School and a member of the Board of Directors for Overtoun House.  In 2009 Gordon took on the role of Regional Evangelism Director and became a member of the Regional Team for Elim in Scotland. He is married to Heather and has three children, Laura, Fraser and Finlay.  His passion is to see Clydebank won for Christ, and Scotland win the world cup!

 

 

 

Deacons ~ Margaret Getty, Frank Newey, Jim Bain & Mark Bain

We currently have 5 deacons.  Frank Newey, Margaret Getty, Jim Bain and Mark Bain were re-elected by the church in January 2007 and continue to serve the church in all areas, from DIY to helping at the Parents & Toddlers group with a love and humility that is an inspiration to all.  Andy Graham joined the team last year when he took on the role of Treasurer.

 

 

Worship Leader ~ Andy Myall

Andy and his wife Jo came to the church in 2008 from London where they had been pastoring The Beacon Church as well as working for Grassroots.  Andy has been our worship leader since 2009 and brings a very welcome vibrancy to our worship as he leads us into God's presence.  Andy and Jo have two children, Esther and Archie.

 

 

Kids Aglow Leader ~ Heather Allan

Heather runs Kids Aglow which is our children's church which runs alongside our Sunday morning service. As a mother of three Heather believes that you are never too young to discover the love of your heavenly Father.

 

 

Parents & Toddlers ~ Doreen Clapperton

Doreen took over the running of our busy Parents & Toddlers group in April 2005. Having brought three of her own little ones to the group over the last 8 years, Doreen appreciates the opportunity the group provides for mothers to get together and the children to play together in a safe and friendly environment.
